Pacific sun cheap fares Suva to Labasa

As part of upcoming Fiji Day celebrations, Fiji’s domestic and regional carrier, Pacific Sun, today announced more flights at better times with lower fares for Labasa & Suva customers. Starting October 11, 2010, Pacific Sun will introduce a new schedule and additional ATR, Otter, and Islander flights** between Labasa and Suva together with a special celebratory fare of $70 one-way for a limited time (price includes all taxes and surcharges; conditions apply), giving better choices and more affordable air travel to residents of Labasa and Vanua Levu. These changes will increase the total number of flights per week between Labasa and Suva to 50 (25 return flights).
ATR42-500 flights will now depart Labasa daily at 8:35am, returning in the afternoon from Suva at 2:50pm on Mondays and Fridays; returns will be at 3:40pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
“The Labasa Town Council, Labasa Chamber of Commerce, and our customers in the Friendly North asked for lower fares, more flights and earlier departures to Suva with later returns to allow more time to conduct business and to visit family and friends for the day,” said Dave Pflieger, Managing Director and CEO of Air Pacific, the parent company of Pacific Sun. “We heard those requests loud and clear, and we think we have developed a great way to do all three at the same time.”
“In addition, as a thank you to all of our customers for their tremendous support since we started flying 3 years ago, and to do our part to celebrate Fiji Day, we will also offer $70 fares* in commemoration of Fiji’s 1970 Independence year. While these fares will only be available for a short time, our new lowest fare in the market will start at $99 after the $70 sale period ends,” said Pacific Sun General Manager Jim Samson.
