This bustling city that epitomises the graceful blend of modernity while keeping the traditions intact, is sure to add value to our rapidly expanding network. Apart from boosting the bi-lateral trade between Saudi Arabia and Oman, the services - which will be operated by a state-of-the-art two class Boeing 737-700 aircraft - also open a range of short and long-haul connection options for air travellers in Saudi Arabia flying via Oman Air’s home base in Muscat, to destinations around the world.”

Dammam is the largest city in the Eastern Province and third largest in Saudi Arabia after Riyadh and Jeddah. Dammam, and the rest of the Eastern Province, is served by the King Fahd International Airport (KFIA), the largest airport in the world in terms of land area.

Peter Hill, CEO, Oman Air concludes:

“Dammam is not only a major oil producing and exporting area, but also a commercial and shipping center. Since, Saudi Arabia welcomes millions of professional migrants every year, Dammam is the most preferred destination after Riyadh. With the introduction of this new destination, Oman Air will be providing a vital link for those conducting business in the city.”
