Atlanta to Prague flights on delta airlines

Delta airlines resume nonstop seasonal service between Ruzyne-Prague International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Atlanta flight operates four times weekly during the summer season, complementing Delta’s existing daily, year-round service to New York-JFK, which this summer will be operated by an Airbus A330-200 aircraft offering up to 243 seats. Both flights will be code-shared with Czech Airlines.

Customers departing from Prague will be able to access a wide array of convenient connections at Atlanta. The most popular destinations for connecting customers last year were Tampa, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and Denver*.

The Atlanta route is operated with a 209-seat Boeing 767-300, including 35 seats in the airline’s award winning BusinessElite cabin. The flight departs Prague on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 11.05am arriving into Atlanta at 3.40pm. The airline is also launching a new Economy Comfort seating option on international flights that offers customers up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than Delta’s standard international Economy class seat. These seats will be available on both Delta services from Prague to the U.S.
Delta will also be introducing self-service kiosks at Ruzyne-Prague Airport on June 2. From the kiosk passengers will be able to check-in using multiple languages, select and change seats, update secure flight passenger data as well as update frequent flyer information.

“Delta remains the only U.S. carrier to operate nonstop from Prague to Atlanta, and we are excited about the return of the route this summer,” said Bob Hannah, Delta’s regional sales director EMEA. “With the two services between the Czech Republic and the United States, passengers have convenient onward connections to over 200 destinations in the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.”

Delta is investing more than $2 billion in enhanced airport facilities, technology and global products and services through 2013. Once completed, Delta will offer full flat-bed seats in Business class and personal, in-seat entertainment for both Business and Economy class customers on all trans-oceanic widebody flights; in-flight Internet Wi-Fi on all domestic flights that feature two-class service; and a larger percentage of First Class seats than any other airline.
Delta is also expanding its international terminals at its largest global gateways. In New York, Delta will expand and enhance Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport to create a state-of-the-art facility by mid-2013, while a new international concourse in Atlanta is slated to open in mid-2012.

Delta’s nonstop flight is available for booking via travel agents, or online at www.delta.com. Delta’s dedicated Czech Republic reservations team can be reached on +420 233 090 933 for all flight bookings and enquiries.

*A portion of travel for some itineraries may be operated by Delta Connection carriers Comair, Pinnacle and Mesaba.
